As summer gives way to autumn, the fall equinox presents an opportunity to pause, reflect, and align with the changing rhythm of nature. Join us at Soul’s Path Retreats for an intimate day of movement, nourishment, and self-discovery anchored in Ayurveda, yoga’s ancient sister science.
In Ayurvedic tradition, autumn is governed by Vata dosha (Air and Ether elements), a time when qualities of cool air, lightness, and movement predominate. When out of balance, Vata can leave us feeling scattered, dry, or anxious. This retreat is crafted to ground your energy, stoke your inner warmth, and prepare you for the season ahead.
What Your Day Includes:
-Ayurveda & Dosha Discovery: An introduction to Ayurvedic principles and guided self-inquiry to help you uncover your unique constitutional footprint (Prakriti) and current state of balance (Vikriti).
-Vata-Balancing Yoga Practice: A gentle physical practice tailored to loosen joints accompanied by calming breath-work to steady the mind.
-Warm, Seasonal Vegetarian Lunch: A nourishing lunch featuring cooked, grounding autumn dishes (with vegan and gluten-free options) designed specifically to soothe Vata.
-Outdoor Fire Ceremony for Transformation (weather pending): A symbolic Agni (fire) ritual inviting you to consciously release what no longer serves you and give power to your intentions for the months ahead.
-Outdoor Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath (weather pending): A deeply restful closing session combining gentle stretches, restorative shapes, and ambient sound healing to integrate your day.
-Take-Home Seasonal Integration Guide: A printed packet featuring your dosha assessment and seasonal daily routine (Dinacharya) tips, accompanied by tea and fall spice mix to support your transition into autumn at home.
